At Millennium, we believe we are stronger when we work together. Just as the Longview community has supported Millennium since our arrival in 2011, we are proud to join with local groups that support families and make our community a better place to live and work.

This month, we are honored to receive the Community Partner Award from the Highlands Neighborhood Association (HNA). The HNA provides services to families within the Highlands neighborhood, including a neighborhood library, community gardens, holiday food and toy drives, laundry services, and a youth scouting troop.

Our employees have been proud partners with the HNA for years, supporting food drives and providing hands on assistance including helping the association move from a portable office into its current facility. Shown in the photo above from left to right are Dixie Bailey and Michelle Alward from Millennium, Liz Haeck from HNA, Gena Ramey from Millennium, and HNA President Felicia Conley.

During the award ceremony, Felicia Conley, said “This partner provides all kinds of support; financial, manpower, including moving the entire community center, and always coming to the table to donate staff time for outreach and programs. A dedicated partner who always shows up…Millennium Bulk Terminals.”

The Longview Pioneer Lions Club recently held an induction ceremony to welcome Millennium’s Gena Ramey into the community service organization. The Lions Club is a group of community volunteers, contributing their time and skills into local projects, including the Race Against Juvenile Diabetes, annual family-friendly Halloween events, and many more. With 186 members, the Longview Pioneer Lions Club is an asset to the Longview community. Millennium is proud of our employees and their contributions to the community.
