LEARN MORE ABOUT OUR RESTRUCTURING PROCESS
On December 3, 2020, in connection with the challenging market conditions and other impacts on the coal mining business from COVID-19, Millennium's parent company, Lighthouse Resources Inc. ("Lighthouse" or the "Company") announced that Lighthouse and substantially all of its direct and indirect subsidiaries, including Millennium Bulk Terminals-Longview, LLC, have filed voluntary petitions for a court-supervised restructuring process under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware (the "Court").
Upon approval by the Court, cash-on-hand and cash generated from the Company's ongoing operations will be used to support the business during the court-supervised process. Millennium operations will continue without reduction, while interested parties will have the opportunity to acquire Millennium's rights under the court supervised process. The company has already received a high level of interest from prospective purchasers.
This court-supervised process allows Millennium to continue serving customers in the ordinary course and time to consider proposals for the best path forward.
Court filings and other information related to the court-supervised proceedings are available at a website administered by the Company's claims agent, Stretto at:
